If you’ve been reading since last year, you’ll know that Halloween on our street is a big deal. HUGE. 1000+ kids huge.
And, so, we try to make our house fit in with the theme. Last year, we had 3 skeletons that graced our house – this year, we added 2 more, so we’re up to a quintet! They just add such whimsy and personality. Next year, the hope is to add 3 more, and have them climb the turret! We’ve really gotten into the spirit of Halloween, and despite the rain forecast, we’re looking forward to having so many people on our porch on Saturday.

And, here’s the scene this year! In case you were wondering, I didn’t get any better at cobwebs this year. I’m still terrible.

I bought a bunch of mums this year, and haven’t managed to kill them, which is AMAZING. Although, dead flowers probably go with the Halloween theme nicely. I decided to use these as a nesting ground for the ravens.
Cobwebs are my nemesis.

I decided to add some of Doug’s cast iron collection to our potions table. Every good haunted house needs a cauldron!
I will have candles in these holders this weekend.

Everything looks GREAT!! I love the skeletons! I may have to steal this for my house next year. I actually have a couple of dog skeletons that look really fierce – people love them. That porch sitting dude is the best. And by the way, your porch is all kinds of gorgeous. Thanks for sharing!
