A Few Studio Things

Here are a few little things in my Studio to show off!

First is this sweet mirror. I found it at Tim and Julie’s Another Fine Mess, which is sadly closed now.

I love that the frame on this matches the wallpaper so well, and that it only wraps partway around the glass.

It’s the perfect size for this room!

It’s hanging from the picture rail, which I am firmly convinced are the best design invention in the history of the world.

The next is this lamp. It’s a lovely piece with two lights, and I really needed something on the desk for when I need to both read paper or a music score, while also working on the computer.

I had these two shades in my collection – with the perfect shade of teal and I love how they almost look like they’re melting!

I really wanted to be able to turn the lamp on without reaching behind it when I’m sitting at the desk, so we added the innards to make it touch sensitive!

How fun is this?

I love it!

I added a ton of pillows to the room, as well. I had too many fun fabrics, and didn’t want to choose against any of them.

You know I love patterns and fabric, and so I tried to match the vibe of this beautiful quilt I was given!

My high school flute teacher made this for me, and I absolutely adore it.

I made a bunch of pillows – including this one. I was thrifting, and saw this WAY TOO SMALL mini skirt. And bought it. As you do. Because I loved the color and the sparkle and the pattern. And it makes the most fun pillow!

I also took this embroidered tea-towel and made it into a little pillow for one of the chairs!

Here’s the bed! It’s a fun place to plop and read a book, and there’s a great nook to the side where the pillows can land if you want to sleep! It’s ridiculous, but the patterns and textures are so great.

Best napping spot EVER.

  1. Love it all! Especially, the wallpaper. I’m sure I’ve seen it in another post, but have forgotten it.
