It’s Christmas! This post won’t have a lot of words, but I wanted to show you the house for Christmas! Hopefully, I can add an update with snow, but we haven’t been so lucky yet!
I’m a big fan of Audrey’s quote in “Christmas Vacation, ” where she says, “It’s pretty, even if it isn’t lit.” I love that it still feel decorated in the sunshine, and you don’t NEED the lights!
The new addition this year? This antique One Horse Open Sleigh that we got at an auction! It’s delightful! And in need of some work to be stable, but it’s pretty eye-candy for now.
A few indoors shots, as well! This is live Christmas tree – the rest are artificial.
Yes, that’s a tree in a tub. If you can’t beat em, join em.
Merry Christmas! I hope you have a wonderful season, and a fantastic New Year! Hopefully, mine will start with a finished bathroom soon enough!!!
Thanks again for the pictures. I noticed a couple of sleds and sleighs on the porch. The advantage of having a basement……storage for those once a year items that make Christmas so special. Merry Christmas to you , your family and friends.
Thank you, Jan! I hope your holidays were great!
Santa is not going to have any trouble finding YOUR house!
Fabulous! Happy holidays!
Also, I’ve been super good all year, so I HAVE to always be on his list.
Love the sleigh! You were so lucky to find a small one that fits on your porch!
Agreed! It’s the perfect size!
Just beautiful!!! Merry Christmas!
Thanks, Angela!
Just beautiful. I will send you snow for your Christmas gift. Hope it gets their in time.! ! ! Lol. . .
The gold paint trim at roof line qlistens. May I ask is it paint or gold leaf outside treated ? It really stands out.
It’s actually a composite copper on the built-in gutters!
I love your holiday enthusiasm! Your home is so lovely.
Thank you!
I have to know how much you paid for that sleigh!!!!
It was only $150! I thought it was quite a steal!
She’s lovely. Thanks for sharing.
Merry Christmas and may your 2018 be blessed.J
Thank you, JJ! To you, as well!
