Here are some details!
You almost NEVER see necklace holders at vintage stores, because they’re usually marked “Not for Sale” so they can be used. This one is super simple and was VERY cheap!
Speaking of necklaces, I used push pins in the walls to feature some of my favorites!
The top drawer of the dresser is what’s called a “glove drawer” – where your gloves would have been stored back in the day. I lined it with leftover velvet from an upholstery project, and now it’s where my glasses are stored.
This cast iron hangar is perfect for scarves!
I took some extra brackets I had, and we made a shelf out of the leftover purple wood. The little details on it are PERFECT for showing off extra-long necklaces,
Here is a better shot of this sweet littler dresser that is a piece from Doug’s family. It fits perfectly in here!
Inside the actual closet, you can see the hanging sections and the shelving.
My jeans are tucked away in this narrow cubby shelf! It’s perfect because I can organize them by length.
Shoes are everywhere, but especially in the tower nook.
This chair was from our friend Craig who found it on a “buy nothing” site in Philadelphia, and said, “Do you want this, it looks like something you’d like.”
Here’s the actual picture he sent me :
That is funky and wild and weird, so OF COURSE it was a yes, and we picked it up at their house on our way back from the coast a summer ago, which delighted our friend Leslie (Craig’s wife) because we got a visit, and the chair left their house. Ha. The seat may need reupholstered, but this tufting on the back is awesome. It’s just a fun piece!
I am delighted. I love this space. It’s wild how much calmer and easier everything is when it’s all in one room!
And lastly, here’s a video of the space!

I have chair envy! Beautiful. You are the best at manifesting beautiful antique and historical treasures, maybe because you 💘 them.
Thank you for sharing you journey with us.
Great use of space! And as always, beautiful and functional. I love how you pulled everything together.
The 3rd floor tower nook is a beautiful space. Do you know how they were traditionally utilized? Or even generally today?
It looks great and like you said do much easier to have everything in one place. I loved the necklaces on the pushpins. So clever!

Such a pretty and cozy little nook!
